Officially, DC didn’t like to use the word “creator” as it made it seem like they didn’t have 100% ownership over the characters, so instead the creators were called “vessels.” These superhero creations travelled from the ether of Jesus’s Fluffy Imaginorium, where they were plucked and ushered via the humanly “vessels” into the gentle hands of the company.
